Leaving HubSpot: the real question is what happens to marketing.
The hard part of a HubSpot migration isn't the CRM data — that moves easily. The hard part is deciding where your content, forms and email workflows are going to live.
An honest warning first: what we don't have
Our depth on the content and inbound marketing side is limited, and we won't claim otherwise. Blogs, landing pages, a content calendar and multi-step marketing automation are not in the product; what it is built around is the daily work of a sales team and field operations.
So a migration from HubSpot takes one of two shapes:
- A full exit: if you aren't really using the marketing side, or you have another tool for it. The cleanest scenario.
- A split: move the CRM and sales side to us and leave marketing where it is today. That route is open: contact sync between the two systems can be built over the REST API, with the scope defined at discovery. We are not claiming we have done this on a live setup to date — we have no provider-specific code written for it.
We decide together in the discovery call which one applies. If the second is right for you, we'll say so.
How do you plan a HubSpot migration?
-
1
1. Separate the record types
Contacts, companies, deals and activities are exported separately. Pull the list of custom properties too — and check which of them are genuinely filled in.
-
2
2. Review your deal stages
You don't have to carry your current pipeline stages across as they are. In most teams stages multiply over time and lose their meaning; a migration is a good moment to simplify.
-
3
3. Inventory the workflows
Which workflow does what, and which ones still fire? Workflows don't migrate — the need gets rebuilt. We have equivalents for the sales-side workflows; we can't say the same for all of marketing automation.
-

4. Plan the forms and inbound channels
If your HubSpot forms come down, what replaces them? The web form object ships in a standard install, but we can't demonstrate a form request reaching the CRM on a live setup today; scope is set at discovery. WhatsApp, email and SMS land in the shared inbox; Meta Lead Ads can't be set up today.
-

5. Migrate the consent records
Commercial-message consent matters legally. Consent status and consent date must move; adding a record with no consent history to a mailing list creates real risk.
