Recycling CRM

In recycling a company faces two directions at once: on one side the factory that will hand over its waste, on the other the buyer waiting for tonnage. When the two are kept in separate ledgers, how much material will come from which site and when never stops being guesswork.

Every container in the field sits under the waste producer's account with its last collection date. Ticket number and tonnage are written to the same record as the task closes.

Recycling CRM
  • Keep waste producer companies and the number of containers on site on the account record, and see fill status and the last collection date
  • Open the collection request as a task, assign the vehicle and driver, and close arrival on site from the mobile app with GPS verification
  • Issue quotes with a validity date to buyers of processed material, and close the old quote's validity when the price changes
  • Track the expiry dates of licences, permits and transport documents, and create the renewal task in advance
Waste Producer AccountsThe factory handing over its waste is an account record; contract start, waste code and the number of containers on site sit in that record's fields.
Collection RequestEvery collection is a task; it sits in vehicle, driver and address fields, and the weighbridge ticket number and tonnage are written to the record as the task closes.
Buyer QuoteA sales quote is a record with a validity date; tonnage and unit price sit in line items, and once the date passes the quote drops off the open list.
Document TrackingLicences and permits are date fields on the account record; documents approaching expiry drop into a list and the renewal task is opened from there.

The knowledge in a recycling business is scattered across the field: how many containers sit at which factory, which one is about to fill up, when the last weighbridge ticket was issued, what the waste code for that batch was. When this sits separately in the driver's phone, the weighbridge operator's notebook and the salesperson's head, the collection truck sets off for nothing while the full container gets emptied by whoever calls first. The same happens on the buyer side: scrap prices move often, a quote given two weeks ago is still in circulation and nobody has withdrawn it.

In Rapitek CRM the waste producer and the buyer are separate account records; every container in the field sits under that account together with its last collection date. A collection request is opened as a task, carries vehicle and driver in its fields, is closed from the mobile app, and arrival on site is verified by GPS. Because the quote's validity date sits on the record, an expired price does not stay on the open list; and because the expiry date of licences and permits sits in an account field, they drop into the list before renewal day arrives.

The scope of the plans and the items priced separately are set out on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see from the CRM which containers in the field are full?
The container sits under the waste producer's account together with its count and last collection date; when the driver closes the emptying from the mobile app the date updates, and points that have not been collected for a long time move to the front of the list.
Which record are the weighbridge ticket and tonnage written to?
As the collection task closes, the weighbridge ticket number, the tonnage and the waste code are written to that task's fields; this way how much material came from which company in which month is read from the account record's history.
Can I be warned before licences and permits expire?
Licences and permits are date fields on the account record; documents approaching expiry drop into a list and the renewal task is opened from that list.
Which is the best CRM software for recycling?
When choosing a CRM for the recycling sector you should look at sector workflows, integration capabilities, customisation options and the quality of support. You do not set Rapitek CRM up yourself — we do: we configure the fields, stages and reports around your recycling process, we migrate your data, and we train your team. Before building our own platform our team completed more than 200 enterprise CRM projects in the Salesforce era; we bring that experience to the setup.
How much does a recycling CRM system cost?
On the recycling side every collection is a task with vehicle, driver and address fields; it is this field crew that uses the system. We keep current plan prices in one place and publish them openly on our pricing page; we do not put figures on this page, so that you never read two different prices in two places. Price is determined by the number of users and the plan chosen. The scope of setup, data migration and training is not the same in every project; the scope and any setup fee are worked out together in the discovery call and shared with you in writing. The Rapi AI credit and ERP integration are items priced separately.
How are CRM integrations done in the recycling sector?
If you use Logo, Netsis, Mikro or SAP, your CRM talks to it — we build the connection. There is no out-of-the-box module: because access and field structure on the ERP side change from one installation to the next, a single button does not work the same way everywhere. The connection is built per project over our REST API covering 183 business objects, OAuth2, webhooks and import/export. We work out the scope and the cost in the discovery call and share them with you in writing.
How does migrating to a CRM work in the recycling sector?
We start with a discovery call: we work out your recycling process together, which fields and which stages are needed. After the call we give you a date, not a range. We migrate your data and we train your team. There is no call centre on our support line. Your question is answered by the team that builds and develops the product — this is a choice, not a matter of capacity.
Can mobile CRM be used for recycling?
In recycling a vehicle and driver are assigned to the collection task, and arrival on site is closed from the mobile app with GPS verification. The app is live on both the App Store and Google Play. The web interface also works on tablet and phone. The app does not work offline; if the connection drops while you are filling in a form, what you have written is kept on the device for 24 hours.
