Cosmetics CRM
In a cosmetics brand the sale ends at the shelf but the work starts in the field: dozens of shades of the same product, a different shelf layout and a different campaign at every point. When what the field team sees reaches head office by photo and message, the state of each point cannot be pulled together even at month end.
A point of sale is an account and every visit a task linked to it; location is verified on the task, the shelf photo and note written onto it. Shade and batch sit on the order line.
- Plan point-of-sale visits as tasks, close them with location verification and write the shelf observation onto the same record
- Keep shade, size and packaging variants on separate product records and build the dealer order from those records
- Filter which product is left at which point by batch number and expiry date
- Define dealer and chain store campaigns as records, and verify the points where they were applied from the visits
| Point of Sale Visit | A visit is a task linked to the account; the location is verified on the task, and the shelf photo and the observation note are added to the same task. |
|---|---|
| Variant Management | Shade, size and packaging are fields on the product record; the order line is fed from that card, and which variant went where stays on the record. |
| Batch and Expiry Date | The lot number and the expiry date are fields on the order line; shipments whose date is approaching are filtered from that field. |
| Dealer Campaign | A campaign is a record; the products and the points it covers are linked to it, and whether it was applied is read from the visit tasks. |
In a cosmetics brand the number of products is measured by the number of SKUs: a single lipstick means dozens of shades, a single cream several pack sizes. When that variety reaches the point of sale, which shade has run out where, which tester has finished and whether the promotional stand was actually put up turn into something only the person who went there knows. Because the information scatters across message groups, the same questions are asked from scratch at the next visit.
In Rapitek CRM a point of sale is an account record and every visit is a task linked to that account; when the field team closes the visit from their phone the location is verified, and the shelf photo and the observation are written onto the same task. Because the product variant and the batch number sit on the order line, which point is holding stock whose expiry date is approaching is filtered from there. When a campaign is defined as a record, which dealer it was applied at is read from the visit records.
The scope of the plans and the separately priced items are set out on the pricing page.
