Optician and Eyewear CRM
Which prescription, which lens and which frame the customer who bought their glasses two years ago walked out with stays on an old receipt; and when renewal time comes, nobody calls them.
Every eye test is a dated record attached to the customer card; the right and left prescription sit in fields and are never overwritten. The last test date produces the renewal list.
- Gather every customer's prescription history, frame and lens preference on a single card
- Run eye test and collection appointments on one calendar and keep no-shows on a list
- Track frame and lens stock by brand, model and prescription
- Attach warranty and lens exchange rights to the sale record and send a reminder before they expire
- List the customers due for a prescription renewal and set up a win-back contact
| Prescription and Test History | Every eye test is a dated record attached to the customer card; the right and left prescription sit in fields and are never overwritten, so the change between two tests is visible on the same card. |
|---|---|
| Frame and Lens Preference | Brand, model and lens type are fields on the sale line; seen from the customer card, what the customer chose in the past comes out as a list. |
| Appointment Calendar | An appointment is a record with a staff field and a time field. Eye test and collection are separate types, and the clash rule is defined during setup. |
| Warranty and Right of Exchange | The warranty start and the right of exchange are fields on the sale record; those approaching expiry drop into a list and a reminder task is opened. |
| Renewal List | The last test date is a field; customers for whom the period you define has passed are gathered by a filter, and contact runs from that list. |
In optics the customer comes back every two or three years, and that gap is the most fragile part of the relationship. If nobody can remember which prescription, which lens and which frame they walked out with, the sale starts from scratch; if it could be remembered, the conversation would carry on as "the same again, or thinner lenses this time?".
Rapitek CRM keeps every eye test and every sale dated under the same customer card, so the change in prescription between two visits is visible at a glance. Because the last test date is a field, customers due for renewal come out through a filter without anyone keeping a separate list.
The scope of the plans and the separately priced items are written on the pricing page.
